Pink Ribbon Polo Cup

Gates open at 10:00. Meander over to the winery for a tasting, enjoy the prematch festivities in the green space and buy tickets for our raffle.  Visit with representatives from Martha Jefferson Hospital and The University of Virginia Cancer Center to learn how they are working everyday to defeat breast cancer.

At 11:30, you won't want to miss the Stage Junction Clydesdales make their majestic tour around the polo field. The Clydesdale is a magnificent draft horse - recognized for its strength, style and versatility. There will be a team of four to put on a great show for us. Visit them by the barn area throughout the day. A thrilling ride on the wagon pulled by the Clydesdales will be awarded to a lucky raffle winner and friends at the end of the awards ceremony. Don't miss your chance to win!

Watch and listen as Bryan Thomas, our announcer who is a polo player, describes the basics of the sport of polo.

The players will take the field for their stick and ball warm up prior to the match. Please do not walk onto the polo field at anytime when there are horses on it!

Our match featuring Team Eagle and Team Embarq will begin at 1:00 with the Star Spangled Banner and Player introductions.

We will make our raffle drawings post match and announce all the winners as we wait for the players to make their way to the Player's Tent for the Awards Ceremony. Please everyone join us at midfield.

Around 3:30, the Award Ceremony will begin with the presentation of team and individual awards and gifts. The Pink Ribbon Polo Cup Perpetual Trophy will be presented to the winning team by the winning team sponsor.

A wine cash bar serving fabulous King Family Vineyards wine will be available. Everyone is welcome to join in the celebration.
